一般的に衝撃に弱い外付けハードディスクは据え置きが基本ですが、ポータブルタイプだけは話が別。持ち歩きに便利な小さなボディーと強い耐衝撃性が大きな魅力です。
一般的な使用環境では「高嶺の花」の可能性大ですが、複数台のパソコンでネットワークを組んでいるような場合に絶大な威力を発揮するのがLAN接続タイプの外付けハードディスクです。
ご自身のパソコン環境や目的に合わせて、スタンダード・ポータブル・LAN接続といったタイプを選ぶことになりますが、「どちらも捨てがたい...。」となったときに比較するのはやはり価格。価格の安い順にスタンダード⇒ポータブル⇒LAN接続と並べることができますが、いったいどのくらいの価格差があるのか比較してみました。
